In conjunction with the Wine & Food Academy, Topsail Events and Charters are pleased to introduce the Captain’s Table Wine Tasting Event. This experience encompasses all the wines traditionally found on an English Sea Captain’s Table, including Sherry, Madeira, Port, Champagne, a Good German White, Claret and Burgundy. This is an informative event which makes a great alternative to a traditional wine tasting - where the history of wine, bottle shapes, labeling, why Port exists, how Madeira came about are all explored…..this is all incorporated into a first rate seated dinner provided by top caterers deWintons.
