Hospitality at Belfast Maritime Festival and the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge 2009

For 4 days next summer the port of Belfast will become host to magnificent Tall Ships from all over the world.  As final port of the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge 2009, Belfast will be set to play it’s role as a party city, welcoming crew from far and wide as well as hundreds and thousands of visitors with its own great brand of hospitality. 

An ever-growing fleet of magnificent square-rigged Tall Ships will sail into Belfast to spark the celebrations and gather together to form a ‘forest of masts’. Ships of up to 90 metres will transform the famous quaysides along the River Lagan and provide the backdrop to four days and nights of festivities.

There will be at least 12 ‘class A’ vessels – the biggest class of all the Tall Ships.  So this means great opportunities for businesses in Northern Ireland to take part and hold great hospitality functions during the festival.
