Over the coming months Topsail Events & Charters will be planning some innovative Olympics themed events and projects. London 2012 Olympics will help bring East London’s Thames and surrounding areas to life with the development of the Olympic Park. The games have not been staged here for over half a century and the event is a fantastic privilege for London and the UK. Our aim is to get involved with London 2012 as much as possible through links with the Olympics and our own cruises which will incorporate the sights and concepts of this fantastic event. East London has always been the main route for Topsail’s Sailing Barges as the vessels cannot cruise west of the Pool of London - their tall masts cannot fit under London Bridge - and many of our most popular events such as our Historic Clay Shooting Cruise take place on the water in East London (at Thamesmead).
