The Raybel was built in 1920 by Willis and Packham of Kent and was named after the twins Raymond and Isabel born to her owners, GF Sully, that year.

Built in Belgium in 1936 the Magna Carta spent her working life transporting sand and aggregate throughout Holland.  She has recently undergone a major convertion and now offers luxury accommodation for holidays and hospitality on the Thames.
