The original slipway and machinery used to build the boat in 1905 were used for the restoration work. 

Built in Belgium in 1936 the Magna Carta spent her working life transporting sand and aggregate throughout Holland.  She has recently undergone a major convertion and now offers luxury accommodation for holidays and hospitality on the Thames.
